Materials Needed:
- Cardboard
- Marker
- Sticks (for height)
- Scissors
- Photos
- Purple construction paper
- Glue
Instructions:
- Cut Out the Shapes: On a piece of cardboard, draw the two shapes shown at the beginning of the video with a marker and cut them out using scissors. You will need two of each shape. For added sturdiness, you can make four or more shapes of each type and glue them together for extra thickness.
- Add Color: Cut out the same shapes from pink and purple construction paper. Glue these onto the cardboard shapes, ensuring to cover all edges and hide any indentations.
- Assemble the Base: Attach six sticks around the edge of one of the circular cardboard shapes. Glue the ends of these sticks to another circular piece of cardboard, forming the base of your rotating wheel.
- Add the Central Stick: Place a longer stick vertically through the center of the two circular pieces, allowing its ends to extend beyond the circles. This stick will serve as the axle for your wheel.
- Attach the Triangular Supports: Take the triangular cardboard shapes and make a small hole in the center of the rounded end. Attach these triangles to the sides of the circular shapes where the central stick is protruding.
- Prepare the Photos: Select six photos and mount them on the purple construction paper. Draw a rectangle around each photo, making it double the size of the photo with an additional 1 cm border. Cut out these rectangles.
- Attach Photos: Fold each piece of construction paper in half, glue a photo onto the folded paper, and attach the ends to one of the sticks on the rotating wheel. Repeat this for each photo.
And your rotating photo wheel is complete!
