- Polymer clay
- Acrylic paint
- 1 small hinge
- Cutter
- Clay varnish
- Shape the Jar: Take a piece of polymer clay and shape it into a cylinder, smoothing the edges slightly.
- Add Honey Drips: Create small balls of clay and attach them around the top edge of the cylinder. Make some balls longer than others to simulate honey dripping from the jar.
- Make the Lid: Roll out a strip of clay and create a circle for the top edge. Make a disc about 1 cm thick to serve as the jar lid and attach it.
- Create the Hollow: Use the cutter to cut the cylinder in half. Remove some clay from the inside of each half to create a cavity. Allow the clay to dry.
- Attach the Hinge: Fix the small hinge to each side of the jar and screw it in place.
- Paint the Jar: Paint the entire jar with acrylic paint.
- Add a Honeycomb Texture: Make small clay balls, cut indentations around them with the cutter, and paint them yellow to create a honeycomb pattern.
- Create the Bees: Form small balls of clay for the bees. Mold tiny antennas and wings, attach them, and paint the bees yellow and black. Draw small eyes and mouths on them.
- Make Flowers: Craft small flowers from clay and paint them in your favorite colors.
- Finish with Varnish: Cover the entire jar with clay varnish and let it dry.
And you’re done! Your adorable kawaii honey jar is now complete!
