Materials Needed:
- Foam strips (Foami or Eva rubber), glitter gold and blue colors
- Hot glue gun
- Gold cord
Step-by-Step Instructions:
- Prepare the Foam Strips: Cut a strip of foam about 20 cm x 1.5 cm in size. Fold it in half and glue the center with hot glue to create a simple bow shape.
- Create Multiple Bows: Repeat the process 16 times to make 16 bows. For this design, you will need 8 gold bows and 8 blue bows.
- Prepare the Two Sides of the Snowflake: The snowflake ornament has two sides: front and back. For each side, you will need 4 blue bows and 4 gold bows.
- Attach the Bows Together: Take one of the bows and add a small amount of hot glue to one side of the bow. Attach a bow of the opposite color. Continue alternating colors and gluing until you have 8 bows on one side.
- Repeat for the Second Side: Repeat the same process for the second side of the snowflake, creating another set of 8 bows.
- Shape the Star: Once you’ve created two bow sides, take one of the blue bows and apply hot glue to the tip of one of its extended ends. Attach it to the tip of the adjacent gold bow.
- Complete the Star Shape: Continue attaching the tips of all the bows together until all 8 are connected.
- Join the Two Sides: Once both sides of the snowflake are ready, glue the edges of the two sides together, joining them at the tips of the star points.
- Add a Gold Cord: Finally, attach a gold cord to one of the snowflake’s points for easy hanging.
