How to Make a Surprise Burn Card: Printable Pattern Included

Welcome to this new tutorial! We gonna learn to make this cute but incredible surprise burn card!

Materials Needed:

• 300g Brown Craft Paper
• 300g Canson White Watercolor Paper
• Cutter
• Glue Stick
• A Match
• Pastel Pencils
• Tissue Paper
• Ruler
• Pencil
• Eraser
• Pattern

Step-by-Step Instructions:

1. First start by cutting out the center part of the craft paper using the cutter.
2. Repeat this process equally on both sides of the paper.
3. Once the cuts are made, carefully glide along the marked lines and fold the paper.
4. Besides, apply glue stick to the corners of the window frame.
5. Cut a piece of tissue paper and place it over the window, securing it with the glue stick.
6. Then take the watercolor paper and draw a cute design along with a hidden message.
7. Apply glue to the back of your drawing and attach it to the inside of the card, in front of the tissue paper.
8. However to prevent the tissue paper from burning too much, place double-sided foam tape on the corners of the window.
9. Finally, close the envelope by gluing the flaps together.
10. After the glued corners dry, for an extra surprise, place a matchstick and a matchbox on the back of the envelope.
11. When you give the letter to the recipient, they should light the match and burn the tissue paper to reveal the secret message inside!
