Materials Needed:
- Jars with lids (cork lids work well) of various sizes
- Paper
- Instant tea or coffee
- Paint
- Water
- Glue
- Brushes
Instructions:
- Search for and print antique-style bottle label templates on cardstock paper. Alternatively, create your own or hand-draw them.
- Dilute the tea or coffee in a container with water. Use a brush to apply the mixture to the labels for a darker effect with more layers. Allow to dry, then cut out the labels.
- Fill the jars with different amounts of water and mix various paint colors to create potion-like effects.
- Add glitter, silver, and gold paint for unique effects.
- Apply glue to the paper labels and stick them onto the jars. Cover with more glue to make them waterproof and let dry.
And you’re all set! Enjoy your charming apothecary bottles.
