Materials Needed:
- Fabric paint: yellow, orange, red
- Brushes
- Fine chalk
- Denim jacket (any color)
- Wax paper
- An iron
Instructions:
- Lay the denim jacket flat on a comfortable work surface.
- Using the fine chalk, draw flame designs on the bottom of the jacket or wherever you prefer. You can use online references for inspiration.
- Paint the flames in sections: start with yellow at the bottom, followed by orange in the middle, and finish with red at the top. Apply enough paint and consider two coats for a vibrant look.
- Allow the paint to dry for 2-3 days, following the fabric paint instructions.
- Once the paint is completely dry, place wax paper over the design. Set the iron to a medium/high temperature and gently press over the wax paper, applying light pressure to the jacket.
- Do not remove the wax paper until it has cooled.
- Repeat the process on the other side of the jacket and let it cool.
And you’re done! Enjoy your fiery, custom-painted jacket.
