Materials Needed:
- Popsicle sticks
- Pink and purple paint
- Cardboard
- Scissors
- Marker
- Hot glue gun or glue
- Small wooden sticks
- Purple construction paper
- 7 printed photos
Instructions:
- Paint the Popsicle Sticks: Paint the popsicle sticks in pink and purple. Prepare as many painted sticks as needed for your project.
- Create Cardboard Circles: Draw 4 circles on the cardboard, each with a 3 cm diameter. Punch a hole in the center of each circle.
- Assemble the Wheels: Glue 7 pink popsicle sticks around one of the cardboard circles to form a wheel. Glue another 7 sticks at the ends to complete the wheel shape. Attach another cardboard circle to the opposite side of the wheel. Repeat this process to create a second wheel.
- Connect the Wheels: Insert a small wooden stick through the holes in the centers of both cardboard circles. Ensure the stick extends on both sides and secure the wheels in place with glue.
- Make the Triangles: Construct two triangles using five purple popsicle sticks each. Leave two sticks extending from the top of each triangle.
- Attach the Triangles: Glue three purple popsicle sticks as the base of the wheels and attach the two triangles on top of these bases.
- Prepare the Photos: Mount the printed photos onto purple construction paper. Ensure the construction paper is twice the size of the photos with an extra 1 cm border around each side. Fold the construction paper in half, glue the photo to the paper, and leave a small gap at the fold.
- Attach Photos to Wheels: Insert a wooden stick through the gap in the folded construction paper and glue the ends of the stick to the tips of the popsicle sticks on each wheel. Repeat this process for each photo.
