Materials Needed:
- Fabric paint: yellow, orange, red
- Brushes
- Fine chalk
- Denim jacket (any color)
- Wax paper
- An iron
Instructions:
- In the first place, lay the denim jacket flat on a comfortable work surface.
- Using the fine chalk, draw flame designs on the bottom of the jacket or wherever you prefer. You can also use online references for inspiration.
- Paint the flames in sections: start with yellow at the bottom, followed by orange in the middle, and finish with red at the top (Just for example you can use the colors of you preference). Apply enough paint and consider two coats for a vibrant look.
- Allow the paint to dry for 2-3 days, following the fabric paint instructions.
- Once the paint is completely dry, place wax paper over the design. Set the iron to a medium/high temperature and gently press over the wax paper, applying light pressure to the jacket.
- Do not remove the wax paper until it has cooled.
- Repeat the process on the other side of the jacket and let it cool.
